Announcement coming in! Dessein's Concept Store is set to make its third star appearance in Perth on 1st August. Taking place in conjunction with our friends at Arthur G, the Perth Concept Store will open with an exclusive launch event at Arthur G, followed by industry focused breakfast seminars and competitions open to all.
The Concept Store, which gives our customers a physical, real-time interaction with the Dessein brand, was conceived and created by Melbourne studio, the DesignOffice.
“Based on the creative brief to encapsulate Dessein's 10 Degrees campaign we spent a lot of time looking at the particular Australian light qualities synonymous with those pivotal times of day,” says DesignOffice’s Damien Mulvihill.
"We wanted to create a flexible installation which could be used in various locations and spoke to customers on a number of different levels. This involved creating an impact with the sense of something unexpected."
One of the Concept Store's most distinctive features is its shifting array of fluorescent lights in sunset hues, which captures the essence of Dessein as an Australian furniture brand, and pays homage to our 10 Degrees campaign.
"The planes of light are cleverly used to focus the view onto Dessein's furniture, to create a sense of place, and an area to dwell and learn more about the pieces," says Damien.
The Dessein Concept Store attracted lots of wonderful attention during its 3-day showing at the DEN furniture and design fair in May.
It’s next stop in Perth will be at Arthur G, 1/207 Stirling Highway, Claremont, Western Australia. Opening 1st August!
