With inspiration drawn from the hues of Australian natives: gums, wildflowers and birds, the limited edition Brush colour palette is now available across our best-selling TAP Range of tables, chairs and stools.
Developed in a first-time collaboration with Sydney-based stylist, Alicia Sciberras, Brush allows you to explore new and unique colour expressions through our Australian-designed and crafted furniture range.
As Dessein's founder, Michele Chow, says: "The Brush palette came directly from our shared appreciation of Australia. And Alicia found a way to apply the colours of our stunning natural environment to our range."
Dulux tones of silver grey (Simone Weil), sunlit putty (Sago) reflect the dusty tonality of the Scribbly Gum. A feathery pink (Iced Vovo) recalls the plush blush of a Galah’s chest plumage. A leafy green (Gentle Calm) conjures the delicate underside of the Eucalyptus leaf.
Working with Dessein's furniture range first-hand, Alicia has been able to develop a unique interconnection between form and colour. "It quickly become clear to me the design intelligence inherent within each piece," says Alicia.
"Dessein's design collaborators have really worked with the material to get the best out of it and the results are luxurious curves and joins that can only be appreciated in real life."
